Johnson Update

I, Whitney, am updating this blog for my dear sister Bekah who had the good intention to start a blog, but has no idea how to continue. This will be fun because I can write whatever I want and brag as much as I like. Here it goes.....
Dave - I actually have no idea what Dave is doing. He drives a lot !
Bekah - Bekah recently ran her billionth half-marathon and finished in killer time... 1:47. She did not barf upon completion like usual, but she did, of course, insist before that she didn't train and wouldn't do well and then did! She is also taking a triathalon training class with AD It is very itense, but she loves it and she has a goal to lap AD in the pool.
Sam- Sam is playing on a basketball team with Scotty, the Cougars (Sam doesn't like the name). They are having so much fun and Sam has really gotten into it and goes for the rebounds and blocks shots like Yao Ming.

Brig- Brigham has recently become interested in scary Mystery books. He likes to read them by the fire. He is still a little sweetheart and is not embarrased to blow kisses to his mom as he heads of to school.

Charlie- This little Cougar fan is stilling very serious about his wardrobe. He recently had a serious tantrum when he couldn't find his new grey transformer underwear. He sat naked and sobbing in a laundry basket for twenty minutes. When he was done throwing a fit, he came into the kitchen dressed in his usual uniform of cougar jersey and shorts and sat down happily to do his homework. He's the best!

Olivia- Liv is very excited about her upcoming Birthday. She has planned a Dora the Explorer Party. She is talking a ton and told her Mom she was not invited to the party. Luckily, she has since changed her mind. She loves to dress up and play babies.

Season of Gratitude

Thanksgiving was wonderful. We were able to go on a beautiful hike in Zion thanks to our number one sitter, Grandpa Charley. The only mishap was when our starving family found out we had made reservations at the wrong restaurant ( we still don't know where!) Poor Sam broke down in tears and the rest of us felt like crying. Luckilly they were able to squeeze us in and we gorged ourselves as usual. I think each of the kids had about six pieces of pie! The weekend was topped off with a win for the cougars, Dave was a good sport, especially when a BYU fan in front of us kept turning around and growling.

Adventures of Kauii 2007

There was little time for laying on the beach when Dave's brothers were on the planning committee. Hiking through waist deep water in dark tunnels and kayaking the Napali are just a sampling of our adventures. But the highlight had to be singing "Summer Loving" from Grease at a Kareoke Bar full of drunk Hawains. Dave was a hit!

Awesome Johnson Family Hike to the Fiferhorn

While Pam and Wynn wrestled the kids at the third anual cousin camp, the sibs and their wives hiked the Fife, the best part was skiing down the glaciers and watching the boys bobsled into the galcial lake in their skivvies.
