Thanksgiving was wonderful. We were able to go on a beautiful hike in Zion thanks to our number one sitter, Grandpa Charley. The only mishap was when our starving family found out we had made reservations at the wrong restaurant ( we still don't know where!) Poor Sam broke down in tears and the rest of us felt like crying. Luckilly they were able to squeeze us in and we gorged ourselves as usual. I think each of the kids had about six pieces of pie! The weekend was topped off with a win for the cougars, Dave was a good sport, especially when a BYU fan in front of us kept turning around and growling.
There was little time for laying on the beach when Dave's brothers were on the planning committee. Hiking through waist deep water in dark tunnels and kayaking the Napali are just a sampling of our adventures. But the highlight had to be singing "Summer Loving" from Grease at a Kareoke Bar full of drunk Hawains. Dave was a hit!
While Pam and Wynn wrestled the kids at the third anual cousin camp, the sibs and their wives hiked the Fife, the best part was skiing down the glaciers and watching the boys bobsled into the galcial lake in their skivvies.
